Perfumed on the nose, with rose petals, wild strawberry, blood orange, sun-dried tomato, and dried herbs.

Full in flavour, with ripe strawberry and dried cranberry, a touch of cedar spice, a touch of herbs, and a slight note of creamy.

Creamy smooth in texture, dry, medium bodied, structured with subtle but firm tannin, a lick of bright, refreshing acidity, and a long smooth finish.

NERD NOTES

Grapes are from estate vineyards around the village of Fytia (450 to 650m altitude). Young vines, dry farmed (non-irrigated), on schist and granite soil.

Grapes are hand picked, destemmed, macerated on skins for 12 hours, fermented with wild yeasts in stainless steel tanks for 5 to 6 months, before being aged in 500 litre second-use oak barrels for 4 months.

Bottled with no added sulphur.
