Delicate hints of strawberry and blackberry on the nose.

Full of dark fruits in flavour, with more blackberry, black cherry, and blackcurrant, dark fruit preserve, along with notes of earth, spice, grilled tones, and Cab Franc's classic slightly bitter leaf note.

Super light and energetic on the palate, a vibrant acid line and subtle chewy tannin. Crisp and a touch bitter on the finish, with dark fruit notes.

Excellent drinking, both chilled or at room temperature.

THE ESTATE

Tourlaudiere is a small estate located halfway between the villages of Vallet and Chapelle Heulin in the Western Loire, and has been in the same family since the 17th century. Romain Petiteau, is the current generation of family winemakers, having joined father his father at the estate in 2006 and is largely running things today. The vineyards are organically farmed and practices minimal intervention winemaking.
