Time: 6:30pm – 8:00pm

Our next Italian adventure will take place in Veneto, a region of hills and towns rising from the canals of Venice up into the Dolomite Mountains. Join us as we taste through a selection of wines from Valpolicella, Soave, Garda, Prosecco and more!

"The classic Italian detective stood on the edge of the fondamenta, looking down into the suspiciously coloured canal below. He took a deep drag from one of his thirteen lit sigarette. "Venice", he whispered to himself as he watched the two bodies bob up and down in the polluted 1960s water.

The bodies were slowly pulled from the canal and laid out on the campiello. "Ostrega", he muttered as their faces came into view. If there was any doubt about their identities it vanished like a puff of delicious sigaretta smoke. Soave and Valpolicella, the darlings of Veneto wine, both murdered.

Two historic regions, famous and in high demand: textural Garganega-based whites from Soave, elegant to rich red blends from Valpolicella. Who did this — the Italian government, greedy developers, the Mafia? And more importantly, why?

"Well..." he remarked to himself as he pulled up the collar on his grey trench coat, while somehow lighting another four sigarette. "I guess I better go to this tasting to find out."

Spaces are limited. 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Our tastings finish at approximately 8:00pm. Occasionally they run slightly over, but we aim to wrap up on time and leave space for anyone who wants to stay and chat.

We provide light snacks, not full meals. Many guests head next door to the wine bar Where’s Nick for dinner after the tasting. Book here.

TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Tickets may be exchanged for future event credit up to 7 days before the event.

This is not possible closer to the event, as wines are ordered based on ticket sales. If you can no longer attend, you are welcome to give your ticket to someone else.
