Vini Fusilli 'Cosimo' Pinot Nero 2023 | Huon Valley, Tasmania

One of two unnamed wines from the mysterious Vini Fusilli — this one’s known as Cosimo, based on its 12.5% ABV. Southern Tasmanian Pinot at its most soulful: unfined, unfiltered, and quietly complex. 

Tasting Notes

• Dark cherry, raspberry, and soft red fruit
• Subtle eucalypt, wild herbs, and earthy spice
• Light-bodied, smooth, with fine structure and gentle grip

Winemaking Notes

• Pinot Noir from Huon Valley, Tasmania
• Estate-grown and organically farmed
• Wild fermented in open top vessels
• Aged in neutral oak, 20ppm sulphur at bottling
• No fining, no filtration, no robots

Drinking Notes

Drink slightly chilled. Made for cold nights, low lights, and long dinners. A Pinot that feels both elegant and a little feral — the good kind. This is Tasmania doing Burgundy through its own lens.
