What: Italian Wines but Secret and Mysterious and cool: AKA Piero Returns

Where: Wine Shop Upstairs / 234 Marrickville Rd

Time: 6:30pm to 8:00pm

In a crumbling wine shop in rural Marrickville, a strange wine importer named Piero staggers in from the darkness, ready to take us down a spiral of madness, secrets, and wine.

In this tasting a series of wines are served blind before being brutally drunk, and it is up to a room full of Italian investigator's, journalists and models to uncover the truth.

The wines for this tasting can come from anywhere in Italy and will be extra good.

Yes, and here it is.

We’ve chosen a selection of our favourite Italian wines — but to begin with, we won’t be telling you what they are. Instead, you’ll have to work it out for yourself, using a mix of clues and your own wine skills to uncover the who, what, and why.

There will be prizes for the most accomplished and a magnum of wine for the overall winner. This event is inspired by our love of weird Italian Giallo movies of the 70's and 80's.

There we be some great wines, we highly recommend this event.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Our wine tastings finish at roughly 8:00 pm. They sometimes go a little over but we try to have everything officially wrapped up by then and let people hang back and chat if they like.

In terms of food, we will have some nibbles but not full meals. The snacks vary for each event. It is quite common for people to head next door to the wine bar Where's Nick for dinner after a tasting. It is super good. Book Here.

TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Tickets can be exchanged for future events credit up to 7 days before the event.

This cannot be done closer to the event as we order wines based on ticket sales. If you cannot make the event, you are welcome to give your tickets to someone else, like a gift!
