Delightfully light, fresh and saline Trebbiano from Abruzzo.

Mouthwatering palate, with bright mineral acidity, a powdery texture, while dry and light bodied. Fresh and fragrant notes, with hints of peach and white florals, a touch of dried Italian herbs, and a delicious salty moreish-ness running through it all.

Super easy drinking but with enough interest to make it a step up in quality. Try with Vege Pizza, mushroom dishes or a cheese & spinach pie.

NERD NOTES

The grapes come from a single vineyard called “Cancelli”, 450m above sea level in the commune of Loreto Aprutino in the province of Pescara. The vineyard covers 4 hectares and the vines are all over 40 years of age and benefits from the Gran Sasso Mountain on one side and the Adriatic Sea on the other.

Fermentation occurs spontaneously through indigenous yeasts and without temperature control in cement tanks. After fermentation is complete the wine is transferred to stainless steel tanks for ageing.
