Wildflower - Good As Gold Blend #20

50/50 blend of barrel aged Gold and fresh Gold that has just completed primary fermentation.

The young beer brings bright citrus and limey Motueka hop notes and the aged beer gives structure and length from the oakier barrels. Nose gives sweet ripe fruit with a touch of funk and oak and the palate is bright with citrus and a racy zip of acidity with a tight hop bitterness bringing it to a close.

NERD NOTES

We brew with regenerative organic grains at our old-world brewery in Marrickville where the beer undergoes a warm primary fermentation with our house culture from NSW flowers. We taste and select the most mature barrels from our cellar which would benefit from the youth and aroma of a younger fermentation, blend the two in equal parts, bottle this blend and allow the beer to naturally condition and carbonate for an additional 3 months minimum before release.
