Rich red fruit and dense dark fruit, with cherry, wild mulberries, black plum; a fine unami thread - think soy and mushroom - stemmy French herbs, olives, gardenia and violet florals, chestnuts, star anise, and saffron.

Smooth and plush on the palate, dry, all bound together with fresh acidity and enjoyably chewy tannin.
